Day one 07/02/10

10 am out of bed, a badly needed catch up sleep from Friday night drinking session
11am reading Introduction to University Learning reader,ages 129 to 133.Disciplining Students:The construction of student subjectivities.
1)What is the definition of a "good student 2)How has this definition and the expectations changed
3)What are the responibilities of the student and the teacher
4)What does higher Education mean to the individual
5)What is the ideal world view for studying
6)Is one way of learning appropriate for different subjects or units

1)What changes can one expect and how to deal with them 2)who can one turn to with problems and how do they do it 3)Why work alone when others are in the same situation 3)What is the best method for an individual to remember

Today I learned
1)how to make and post on a blog
2)Other people are aprehensive,insecure,scared,alone,shy,fearing judgement
3)The idea of what makes a student is complex and manifold,therefore the concept is subjective not a specific formula.
4)Build on the knowledge one already has with topics of interes
